The Restaurant Manager will be the primary on-site leader responsible for smooth service delivery, staff supervision, rostering and customer experience. You will work closely with the kitchen head to maintain quality and timing during peak lunch and dinner services, manage inventories and contribute to local sales growth through upselling and promotions.
This role suits a proactive hospitality professional who thrives under pressure, enjoys mentoring a small FOH team and has hands-on experience with POS, service SOPs and basic P&L monitoring. Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including opening and closing checks
- Lead, coach and schedule FOH team (supervisors, servers, hosts) to meet service standards
- Manage reservations, walk-ins and table allocations during peak lunch and dinner shifts
- Ensure high levels of customer service; handle guest feedback and escalate escalations professionally
- Work with the kitchen to coordinate service flow, specials and menu changes
- Monitor daily sales, labour costs and assist with basic P&L and inventory control
- Conduct cash handling, POS reconciliation and end-of-day banking procedures
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company SOPs
- Recruit, onboard and run regular training for new and existing staff
- Drive local marketing promotions, upselling and corporate account relationships
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant or seafood concept, with at least 1 year in a manager-level role
- Proven ability to manage a busy lunch-and-dinner operation in a CBD environment
- Strong customer service and complaint-resolution skills
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling and daily takings reconciliation
- Comfortable with rostering, labour cost monitoring and basic inventory control
- Excellent communication skills in English; conversational Mandarin is a plus for customer-facing duties
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays on rotation
- Eligible to work in Singapore

Work schedule
Typical week: 5.5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays on rotation.
- Split shift (e.g. 10:00–14:30 and 17:00–22:30) to cover lunch and dinner peaks
- Straight shift (e.g. 11:00–20:00) for weekend operations
- Manager-on-duty rotation covering early and late shifts
